A Toki (Adze) was an essential tool used by our tūpuna Māori for woodworking tasks like felling trees, hollowing out waka (canoes), and building whare (buildings).
Every taonga has a kōrero.
This was carved to courage and industriousness, strength, and determination.
Hand-plaited waxed cotton cordage.
